2018 Faculty: Alda Çapi

Alda Çapi is founder and principal of AÇA, an architectural design office based in San Francisco, California. Alda is an Albanian-American Designer and Adjunct Professor at California College of the Arts. Her work consists of a wide range of cultural, educational, commercial, and residential projects. Alda received her Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 2011, where her thesis was nominated for the James Templeton Kelley Thesis Prize. She received a Bachelors of Science in Architecture degree, from Lawrence Technological University in 2006, Summa Cum Laude, and was honored with the Edward Donley Distinguished Graduate Award as the top female graduate. Her professional work has been published and exhibited on various platforms, including winning first prize in the international competition MOBILIciTY. Alda is a licensed Architect in Albania, and was honored in 2012 with the Albanian Excellence Award.
